Welcome to 1840 Farm

You’re always welcome at 1840 Farm and we’re thrilled that you stopped by for a visit!  From our favorite cast iron skillet recipes, chicken keeping tips, updates from our gardens, and our handmade basket collection, we hope that you’ll find something new to explore each time you stop by.

All of our recipes are nut free, just like our farmhouse kitchen.  From peanut-less brittle for the holidays to a Chocolate Bourbon “Pecan” Pie that tastes just like the pecan pie you remember from Thanksgiving dinner decades ago, you’ll find that those recipes don’t contain nuts, but are packed with flavor.  If you don’t live and cook around nut allergies, our recipes can be made with your favorite nuts.  Either way, they’ll be full of delicious flavors sure to delight your friends and family.
