A Year of Gratitude – February 3, 2024

Hello from the farmhouse!

It’s been awhile since I said hello and we have a lot of new friends here so I thought that I would pop in and say hello.

I am so glad that you are here, that you have chosen to be a member of our community. I’m so lucky to spend my days creating new recipes and handmade goods to share with you right here.

I have long liked to say that everyone is welcome here at 1840 Farm. I mean it. I love that our community is diverse and filled with people from corners of the world, different backgrounds, and viewpoints. Our community is richer for it.

The one constant is that you are all kind and generous with each other. That’s all that matters. That’s my gratitude for today: you and your decision to be kind, to have an open heart and look for the grand possibilities in each day. You help me to do the same. It makes all the difference in my days.

We’re being treated to bright sunshine today. I’m so happy to see the sun after a string of gloomy days. It’s such a treat.

I hope that you are having a good day today. Thank you for being here. Spread kindness liberally today and keep some for yourself. You deserve it.

I hope that today gives you something to be grateful for and treats you gently.
