A Year of Gratitude – January 22, 2024

Gratitude can be found anywhere. It’s in the small things, the quiet moments, and the everyday tasks. It is often hiding in plain sight.

I found gratitude standing in this spot today. I was hurrying to cross a few duties off my to do list when I looked upon this old cabinet and the various pieces on display.

This cabinet was in my childhood bedroom. It holds a few treasures from that childhood along with treasures from my children’s. Each piece means something to me.

As the memories flooded over me, I was filled with gratitude. I was so grateful to have been a part of making those memories. I held on tight to that gratitude and carried it with me through the rest of the day.
