Strawberry Season Canning Jar Printables

Strawberry Season Canning Jar Printables

Welcome, one and all of you who traveled here from our 1840 Farm Community Newsletter!  I am so glad that you decided to claim a copy of our NEW Strawberry Season Canning Jar Printables.

If you’re like me, you spend the summer and fall filling the pantry with Mason jars packed with the most delicious flavors of the growing season.  Then we spend the fall, winter, and spring emptying every jar back out again, enjoying each bite of summer flavor during the long New England winter.

I have been known to share our jams, jellies, and marmalades with friends and family during the holidays.  Something homemade and delicious makes such a heartfelt gift, even more so if it was tended and harvested from our own garden. I dress up those pretty jars with a bit of fabric or twine and a handwritten label.  It seemed like high time for me to make labels for all those jars using the artwork from our Paper & Ink Collection!

I hope that you’ll enjoy using this page of Strawberry Season printables as much as I have so far this summer.  Simply click on the image of the full page of printable tags below.  From there, you can choose to save, copy, or “view image” which will open a new window with a larger image of the page.  Save or copy the file, add it to a document or open it directly in your favorite photo editing program before resizing it to your liking and printing it as a full page on regular printer paper or card stock.

I like to print the page, cut them out, and keep them near my canning supplies.  When I want to share a jar of something delicious with friends or family, I  handwrite the name and date of the delicious recipe contained in the jar, punch a small hole in the tag, and tie the tag around the neck of the jar with a piece of garden twine. The round tags can be tucked under the standard ring of your canning jars.  It’s such a lovely way to share something homemade with a touch of the farmhouse style I love so much.

Stay tuned because we’ll be sharing more of these printables with you.  I’ll have raspberries, blueberries, apples, pears, pumpkins, and more to share with you in future issues of our newsletter.  I can’t wait to see how you’ll use them!

You’re always welcome at 1840Farm.com where you’ll find our favorite recipes from the farmhouse kitchen waiting for you.  While you’re here, take a minute to learn about our Basket Collection and our Mercantile Shop.  We hope that you’ll stop by for a visit, stay for a bit, and come back again soon!
