A Year of Gratitude – January 31, 2024

On this, the last day of January 2024, I found my gratitude in each and every one of you who took the time to comment on my gratitude posts this month. I started out on the first day of the year with the goal of posting once a day, every single day, about my gratitude. I wasn’t sure that I would stick with it, but I am so happy that I did.

The goal of sharing a gratitude post with you each day gave me a reason to look for gratitude in places I might have overlooked. On days that were difficult, you gave me a purpose that was so positive in nature that it helped me to feel better. That was such a gift.

You kept me going. Every day you gave me reasons to keep looking for my gratitude so that I could share it with you. As I read each of your comments about your daily gratitude or your difficulty finding it, I renewed the promise I made to myself to keep finding something to be grateful for every day so that I could share it with you.

Once you start looking for gratitude, you find it everywhere. I am so glad that you all gave me a reason to look for it in new places so that I could share it with you.

I plan to keep right on looking for beauty and gratitude and sharing them with you here. I hope that you will return the favor and share yours. I really do believe that gratitude multiplies when you share it with others. That has certainly been the case when I have shared mine with you.

I hope that you have found these posts to be as helpful as I have and that seeing them has helped you to look for the things both big and small in your days to be grateful for. The world could certainly use more gratitude and kindness. Our days could benefit from allowing ourselves a few moments to find beauty and savor it for just a bit if only to remind us that there is so much to be grateful for.
