A Year of Gratitude – January 11, 2024

I am filled with gratitude tonight. After a busy day, I find myself finally sitting down with a cup of tea and my knitting. My best friend Penny Lane is already settled in on the couch in front of the pellet stove and I am about to snuggle under the blankets with her.

How lucky I am to find myself in this space at this moment, to end my day in this peaceful way. I have the love of my family, a cozy home, and the best companion a person could wish for.

I also have you, a group of people who inspire me to keep creating and sharing. You seem to have boundless kindness for me and each other. Social media is often an unkind place, but the neighborhood we have here is filled with your kindness and generosity.

It’s such a delight to spend my days sharing with you. Thank you for being here and for adding kindness into the world. Be sure to keep a bit of it for yourself. You deserve it.
