A Year of Gratitude – August 31, 2024

I found a reason for gratitude with ease today. I found it in time spent with my daughter and a beautiful evening spent together.

We decided to take a bit of time out and about, walking around a nearby city. It was a beautiful evening, and it was so nice to stretch our legs and take in the sight of people enjoying the crisp and cooler weather.

When our evening had come to an end, we started the walk back to the car. I looked down and saw this glorious plant. Yes, it really was this vibrant and colorful. It was so glorious that it seemed almost as if the leaves had been hand painted.

I had to stop and take a photo of it. It was just too beautiful to pass by. It was a beautiful sight on a lovely evening. Add in the best of company and memories to take home with us and it was the perfect combination.
