You have such perfect timing! I was looking at a hatchery where I had to order 25 and it was holding me back. We only need 15, and I wasn’t OK with raising meat birds. Now I have a better alternative! Thank you!!

I am so glad to hear that I have helped point you in the direction of My Pet Chicken! We have had great success with their chicks and I can’t recommend them highly enough! Good luck with your chicks: I hope that you will let me know what type you order and how they are doing. Be sure to follow my A Year In the Life series for CommunityChickens.com. There will be a lot of money saving offers on chicken keeping equipment and product giveaways. There might be something great for you to use with your chicks!

We ordered last night (Mother’s Day gifts for me). 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Austrolorps, 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes, 2 Easter Eggers, and 2 Welsummers. Thanks, again!

So glad that it worked out. We also keep Australorps and Golden Laced Wyandottes and one of our new chicks is a Welsummer. Enjoy the experience-I know that we do.
