Yesterday we were visited by friends bearing the most delicious gifts. When they left to start their journey home, we had a new supply of homemade apple jelly, beautiful maple syrup, and maple lollipops.
They also brought along homemade fresh maple cotton candy. While I’m not usually a big fan of the standard rainbow-colored cotton candy, the maple version was otherworldly. It was light and sweet with a lovely maple flavor. It was a real treat. I may need a cotton candy machine after all.

I’m not really a fan of regular cotton candy either, but the maple version sounds amazing! I’m already a serious maple syrup fiend so if I had a source for this it would probably be bad news…

It is truly delicious. I couldn’t believe just how good it was!
